About this event

Join the Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Program to learn how to make pizza from scratch! We will learn how to make homemade dough and sauce, and will create personal pizzas to enjoy. Along the way, you’ll learn tips on proper knife skills and cooking techniques.

This event is led by the Nourishing Literacy team. Nourishing Literacy is the Culinary Literacy Center’s set of programs that connect youth, teachers, and caregivers to the library through educational cooking opportunities. Life and learning skills are emphasized as students work with and taste fresh and flavorful foods as a community.

This event is for AYA ages 15 and older.

Parking

There is metered street parking surrounding the library, as well as a paid lot at 19th and Callowhill streets.
